Kyle Filipowski is a big name coming out of the 2024 NBA Draft. While he may have fallen all the way to the second round, his achievements with the Duke basketball program cannot be undermined. Jon Scheyer has taught him to be a versatile big who is more than capable of handling drop coverage schemes when he is assigned to them. But, before he inked a contract with the Utah Jazz, he was already getting a massive bag in college due to his NIL value.

The Danny Ainge-led Jazz front office picked Kyle Filipowski with the 32nd pick of the 2024 NBA Draft. He fell all the way to the second round due to some issues that concerned his girlfriend and family ties. Nonetheless, his performances in the Duke basketball program should not be overlooked. A lot of companies contributed to his NIL valuation due to how smooth and intense his style of play was back in college. All in all, he reaped an estimated $795,000 from his NIL deals, per Nima Murugan of Essentially Sports.

After all, averaging over 15 points as well as grabbing nine rebounds per contest will surely make a lot of brands turn their heads when it comes to getting him as an endorser. The fact that he is also part of the ACC All-Tournament team in his rookie year allows him to have a target audience who would surely buy the products that he endorses.

Cuts Clothing invested early in Filipowski’s career. In fact, it was the only NIL deal that the Duke basketball star inked back in 2022, per On 3 Sports. The two camps agreed on a deal back on October 28, 2022, and have both been netting the rewards of the deal.

In 2023, Filipowski got two more contracts added to his NIL valuation. The first of which was Bonchon. This renowned Korean fried chicken chain has 21 locations throughout the whole of the United States. The Duke basketball star even posted an advertisem*nt for Bonchon in his X account at one point. Another deal that he signed that year was with the Duke NIL store.

2024 is the year where a lot of his NIL valuation comes from. A grand total of five brands signed Filipowski during his final run with the Duke basketball program. Crowne at 501 got him to endorse some apartments. Meanwhile, Snack Fanatics saw him and Bryce Hopkins get their own specialty chips because of the deal. HEYDUDE Shoes also got him to ink a deal during this time.

At the height of March Madness, Great Clips signed the Duke basketball star to an NIL deal. He joined Jay Wright and Gabby Gregory in being one of the brand’s stars. Topps also offered him a deal just six days after the deal with the renowned barbershop chain.

Before joining the Jazz through the NBA Draft, Filipowski was ranked 59th in all of college basketball when it came to his NIL valuation. Those numbers are likely going to be bigger now that he is with an NBA squad but all of that still lies in his performances on the court alongside Jordan Clarkson and Keyonte George.
